Why You Should Play Throne of Egypt

Microgaming has lovingly created a slot based on ancient Egyptian mythology, featuring some stunningly-drawn symbols. The main images include a gold scarab beetle, a treasure chest and ornate vases, while there are also a couple of animal-headed gods, a Tutankhamun-like king and a sultry queen. The reels are framed by wooden columns and an exotic soundtrack plays in the background if you so choose. It is the bonus features which really make this game, though, with stacked Wild symbols, free spins and a Bonus Chamber.

How to Play

The bet range on Throne of Egypt is £0.01 to £125, making it a great option for casual players and high rollers. As well as being able to alter the size of your stake with + and – arrows, you can regulate the number of paylines or coins or just select Bet Max to go with the highest possible wager. The red Spin button starts the game, and you can tap on Expert to bring up the Auto Play option.

Features

Wild Symbol

Throne of Egypt’s Wild symbol is the game’s logo, and it can be stacked on all reels to increase the chances of winning combinations.

Free Spins

The burning flame acts as the Scatter symbol and you receive 15 free spins if the symbol appears on reels one and five. All wins during this round are doubled, and you can trigger more free spins.

Bonus Chamber

If you land the Eye of Horus bonus symbol on reels two, three and four you will trigger Throne of Egypt’s big bonus feature and get the chance to go through three chambers. You will first enter the Scarab Bonus room, where you have to pick from 12 beetles. Each pick will grant you a prize, but once you pick the key you will proceed to the Eagle Bonus. This time there are nine birds of prey and you must pick three to try and find the key. If you fail, the round is over, but if you succeed you will enter the Princess Bonus. In this room you get the chance to choose one out of three princesses, and will then be rewarded with a multiplier.
